5 Frozen 4th of July Dessert Recipes for Your Backyard BBQ

Last week we published our article 5 Easy No-Bake 4th of July Desserts, and with the 4th just a few days away, it was relatively popular.  The idea was that the no-bake patriotic desserts would keep your kitchen cool and save time.  With that same mindset of staying cool, I’m compiling a list of some of the best frozen 4th of July recipes available.  Beat the heat as you enjoy the fireworks with these 5 frozen 4th of July dessert recipes.

1) Patriotic White Chocolate Dipped Cones for the 4th of July

Our first frozen 4th of July dessert is the most basic and simple: a ordinary ice cream cone that has been dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles.  This is a simple recipe that will make your ordinary cone a bonafide patriotic 4th of July dessert.  Your guests will probably have to resist the urge to salute it.

2) Red White and Blue Frozen Chocolate Bananas

This simple recipe from Just a Taste calls for white chocolate dipped bananas covered in patriotic colored sprinkles.  The bananas are frozen and on sticks, making this 4th of July dessert easy to serve and easy to eat, making it a perfect option for kids.

These healthy and simple treats are vegan, soy-free, and have no refined sugar.  They taste delicious and won’t offend anyone.  They only have 5 ingredients, and are incredibly easy to make.  Plus they look wonderful and scream 4th of July.

These DIY ice cream sandwiches are bound to be a hit with your guests.  Combining chocolate cookies and vanilla ice cream is great idea in itself, but when you add some red, white, and blue m&m’s and sprinkles, this treat becomes the ultimate 4th of July dessert.  This idea can also be used as a hack for store bought ice cream sandwiches.  Just unwrap, cover in sprinkles, and serve.

Here’s an easy patriotic dessert recipe that is perfect for the craftier chef.  By layering ice cream sandwiches with colored ice cream, you can easily create an ice cream cake in your own kitchen.   This frozen treat will help keep your family and friends cool, and since this is a no-bake cake, your kitchen will stay cool as well.  There are many versions of this patriotic recipe out there, but this one from Baking Beauty is the most impressive.
